Alternative Architecture Engine research

Very High Power density engine Research, targetting a power density of 2.5 KW/kg for dry engine, with a specific fuel burn of 215 g/kWh.The project aims to develop new technologies that enable a piston engine to reach such a power density never achieved before.  Please refer for the full and formal topic description to Annex III of the Clean Sky 2 Work Plan 2014-2015 Amendment nr. 1  Version 3 (see under the tab "Topic Conditions and Documents")
