HORIZON-EIT-2023-NATIONAL CONTACT POINTS

EIT NCPs have a key role in contributing to the delivery of the EIT’s impacts and ensuring that the EIT becomes known and accessible to all potential applicants and interested stakeholders at national level. They provide information and advice to potential beneficiaries, through the project life cycle, in their own language, in a manner that would be impossible for the European Commission and its Agencies acting alone. In addition, EIT NCPs contribute to the awareness-raising efforts of the EIT, by disseminating results and organising information sessions and open days, including in cooperation with representatives from the local EIT KIC Co-location Centres and RIS Hubs.

Therefore, it is in the interest of the EIT to ensure that the EIT NCPs operate in an efficient way and are properly supported. The EIT intends to provide additional support to its NCP structure through a Coordination and Support Action (CSA).
