Networks (Réseaux)
In 2003, the DGTRE (The Directorate-general for Technologies, Research and Energy of the Ministry of the Region of Wallonia) set up a programme called "Réseaux" (Network). The aim of this programme is to allow funding of R&D projects promoted by universities and research centres and for which one partner at least is involved in a Network of Excellence (NoE) financed by the EU in FP6.
The call covers the following domains: Genomics and Biotechnologies for health, Nanotechnology, Materials and Production, Aeronautics and Space, Food Security and Health risks. The call was opened in January 2003 and will be closed June 30, 2003. The budget allocated is of 20 Mio euros.
