The programme will run for five years from 1st January 2022 to 31st December 2026, and will include two calls for candidates. The aim of 3-i ICT is to provide eight Early-Stage Researchers (ESR) with unique opportunities for basic and applied interdisciplinary research, training and career development.
During the initial two years of the project, the two scheduled recruitment calls have been concluded.
Training sessions for individuals undertaking their theses have commenced, academic stays for those who have been working on their theses for a year have been arranged, and their career development plan has been initiated. This plan will evolve throughout the remaining period of their contracts and will serve to align the training sessions with the objectives that the fellows aspire to achieve.
The research stays for the three individuals who have been employed for a year have been arranged, and students have been encouraged to participate in workshops and conferences, resulting in 7 conference presentations and 1 published article. We are already finalizing conference participation for the year 2024.
