International Advocacy for the Strategic Alignment of MSCA Cooperation Mechanisms in Key Partner Countries and Regions

Analysis of consistency of the MSCA promotion and implementation plans with the EU's R&I bilateral and bi-regional cooperation roadmaps and action plans, including recommendations (odnośnik otworzy się w nowym oknie)

This report will draw its basis on the work from- WT1.1 Assessment of cooperation trends; - WT1.2 Review of cooperation mechanisms;- WT1.4 Qualitative monitoring of participation in MSCA calls); - WT2.2 co-designed activities- WT2.3 Implementation of MSCA promotion activities,- all other tasks in WP3.The report will include recommendations for strategic orientations in the promotion of MSCA; for a coherent long-term promotion plan to implement; for widening MSCA global country networks and for the sustainability of that approach beyond the project’s lifetime. In the last year of the project, preliminary results will be presented to the respective policy dialogue fora (WT3.1), while the report will be submitted at the end of the project, incorporating a feedback from these fora.

CountrySpecific Reports which look at the ongoing stateof theart for policy support to bilateralbiregional cooperation relevant for MSCAassessing main cooperation trends opportunities and challenges related to local developments in the RIhigher education domainidentifying possible gaps versus joint priorities and participation of prominent local stakeholders strategic networks associations etc that are part of the RI value chains assessing the main existing ST cooperation agreements and roadmaps and action plans at bilateral and biregional levels for the targeted countries and regionsThis will lay the basis for the crosscutting activity of analysing consistency with EU RI bilateral and biregional activities in WT34

This collection will entail: - Screening and collecting data about already scheduled MSCA promotion and support activities or/and events (bilateral/regional/local level) in cooperation with existing initiatives and networks such as info relays (e.g. MSCA NCPs network coordination project, EURAXESS WW, national and international university associations, EU Delegations/S&T counsellors, MSC Alumni Association, Chambers of commerce and business associations, etc.). In addition, the synergies with other promotion events and activities related to Horizon Europe, including ERC, COST, and other EU programmes (e.g., Erasmus+, European Enterprise Network, EuropeAid-Technical Assistance, Cooperation with thematic NCPs and other) will be considered. - Mapping (through desk research, interviews, etc.) of untapped promotion opportunities for MSCA, (Congresses, workshops, ‘Open Doors’ in Universities and Research Centers, etc.) along with the relevant strategic networks and stakeholders in order to create synergies with them.This deliverable was due in month 27; it is now put on month 24 in accordance with the pertinent calls of the EC.

The country-sensitive approach in coherence with the country liaison system will be put in place.

This Toolbox will contain all necessary practical knowledge and tools for organising training sessions together with NCPs local MSCA Info Sessions and MSCA Grant Writing Workshops for their stakeholdersThis deliverable will be redone in better quality

The report will include the results from implementation on- ad-hoc events in the target countries (e.g. co-designed workshops)- regional MSCA online promotion events - the dedicated event “International MSCA exchange workshop”.
