The Assessment Framework will offer a roadmap for assessing the performance of the primary WP1 (being defined T1.3); accounting for the pre-defined AWARE2ALL impacts, as for example, i) passive and active safety resilience, ii) AVs occupants actual and perceived safety, iii) VRU safety, iv) user acceptance and trust. Demonstrators incorporating the results of the research topics included in T2.2: the hand-over strategy between automated driving and manual driving (D3) and safety features for accident avoidance and crash severity mitigation, where the accident is no longer avoidable (D2). Linked to T2.2.

Based on the interior concepts, the restraint system concept will be defined for enabling the new seating positions by keeping the injury risks on a minimized level by using simulation models. A relevant virtual passive safety system will be presented as D1. Linked to T2.3.
