Bridging the gaps in nanosafety for animal-free prediction of adverse outcomes

Time-lapse microscopy data (öffnet in neuem Fenster)

Quantitative data of KE dynamics, extracted from images of time-lapse microscopy over 1–2 days, for 40+ benchmark and 10+ industrial materials on in vitro models for 4 selected adverse outcomes. The data is organised and documented according to FAIR principles, and formatted as needed for modelling in WP3.

List of NM descriptors and early-events - activity indicators (öffnet in neuem Fenster)

Compilation of selected NM-relevant data obtained with data mining, relating the molecular initiating events (MIEs) and key events (KEs) towards selected adverse outcomes (AOs) with the markers and in vitro/in silico tests.

Project Communication Plan (PCP) (öffnet in neuem Fenster)

A document outlining the overall communication strategy (target audiences, key messages, communication tools, schedule) to ensure consistency and the timely release of information about the project

The one-stop-shop for project communication, both for external audiences and the consortium with a partner-only area. Will provide a repository (news, deliverables, events), and be the first interface for interested stakeholders with a contact form

Plan for Exploitation & Dissemination of Results (PEDR) (öffnet in neuem Fenster)

A guidance document, reviewed yearly, supporting dissemination activities through a list of desired exploitation outcomes and related success criteria, and a protocol to assess dissemination suitability and related implementation actions.

Submission of 1 manuscript on an AOP (öffnet in neuem Fenster)

The manuscript will be based on AOP 237, and it will be submitted to a suitable journal, e.g. ‘Environmental Toxicology and Chemistry’ or ‘Environmental and Molecular Mutagenesis.

The QMP document will detail the roles of partners for the deliverables and milestones, and clear 6-month goals. It will be revised during the course of the project if needed.

Report about submission of the proposal for the first animal-free toxicity-prediction method for selected AOs to ECVAM.

Set-up of the management structure and decision-making procedures, finalised at the kick-off meeting. Set-up of shared server for exchange of data and files, devised Data Management Plan (DMP) according to FAIR principles.

Predictive QSAR models (öffnet in neuem Fenster)

Description of physics-based and statistical models to establish quantitative structure-activity and property-activity relationships (QSAR and QSPR, respectively) between the NM descriptors and AO evolution using NM descriptors for selected AOPs.
