The development of the corpus will be a joint effort of the Youth Advisory Board and researchers involved in Horizon Scanning in WP2. In order to ensure that the collection of sources is not only of interest for a specific milieu of young people, but that it covers a broad and balanced range of sources that account for different young people in terms of gender, age, education, and their various socio-cultural and geographic positionality, the inFLOW lens will guide the categorization and selection process. The online application will have a simple structure, as we do not want it to be an academic level application, but one oriented at providing a diverse participation in the workshops: applicants will be asked info regarding their name, region and country of origin, education, and some basic questions regarding the theme of the workshop and their motivation for joining in.

The report describes the Open Access dataset containing all collated data: All the data will be collated in an Open Access dataset. The data sources that are relevant for FLOW (scientific literature (e.g. human-nature relations, socioecological systems, behavioural science, futures studies, cultural studies, public engagement, blue humanities), research projects, high-level reports (e.g. IPCC), surveys (Eurobarometer, World Value Survey) will be explored using the SPIDER (Sample, Phenomenon of interest, Design, Evaluation, Research type) approach to map human-nature connectedness considering different youth variables such as gender, age, ethnicity, education, socio-cultural and geographical aspects. This search will also follow recommendations from the PRISMA (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-analyses) Statement and the methodology of integrative reviews.
