R1 - Movable Syngas production units is linked to WP2, still ongoing --> intermediate results: steady and dynamic modelling were finalized (D2.1 – Steady and dynamic gasifier modelling). The steady state model developed in T2.1 is being used to optimize the design of the gasifier, results (R1) are expected at M24 (D2.2 – Optimizing the design and operation of the gasifier and D2.3 – Experimental tests of the pilot gasifier).
R2 - Model predictive Control system is linked to WP2, still ongoing -->intermediate results: steady and dynamic modelling were finalized (D2.1 – Steady and dynamic gasifier modelling). The dynamic models developed in T2.1 are being used as input for the development of the control system (R2), which is expected to be finalized by M28 (D2.4 – MPC model, due at M24).

R6 - Planning Optimization Tool is linked to WP4, still ongoing --> intermediate results: The Planning Optimizing Tool has been designed during 1st RP. The design of both the POT and the Investment Tool leveraged insights provided by stakeholders during the first two co-creation workshops (T1.4 and related D1.4 – Demonstrator Conceptual design), submitted and approved. Activities for the optimization and finalization of the POT will be advanced in 2nd RP, and the final results will be disclosed in D4.2 – Planning Optimization Tool, due at M36.
R7 - Investment Tool is linked to WP4, still ongoing --> intermediate results: The High-Level Architecture Design of the Investment Tool was finalized making choices to support scalability and modularity, easier deployment, and improved maintainability. The design of the Investment Tool leveraged insights provided by stakeholders during the first two co-creation workshops (T1.4 and related D1.4 – Demonstrator Conceptual design), submitted and approved. Activities for the optimization and finalization of the Investment Tool will be advanced in 2nd RP, and the final results will be disclosed in D4.3 – Investment tool, due at M36.
R8 - Decision Support System is linked to WP4, still ongoing --> The integration of the POT and Investment Tool (R6 and R7) in the Decision Support System will be finalized between 2nd and 3rd RP (T4.4 and related D4.4 due at M39).
