Optimised collection strategies

D3.2 will assess different collection options for reuse and end-of-life treatment and will propose optimized approaches for the collection of textile waste, considering factors such as yield, applicability to different contexts, cost-effectiveness, and environmental impact, impact of the increasing volume and the expected quality of the collected textiles.

Intermediate Cooperation Strategy

D6.3 will provide a preliminary cooperation strategy, detailing the anticipated benefits and outcomes of collaboration with related innovation clusters.

Environmental impacts

D1.4 will provide a comprehensive understanding of the environmental impacts and main hotspots in the textile sector, focusing on GHG emissions from fabrics, materials, production processes, and waste management strategies, as well as on the quantification of other environmental dimensions and pollution divers, including microplastics release and the use of substances of concern (i.e., PFAS, dyes, etc.).

Literature review socio-economic impact

D1.6 will provide the results of the systematic literature review to create an initial conceptual framework on supply chain circularity transitions and EPR schemes’ structure, implementation, and impacts.

Capacity Building Programme outline

D6.6 will describe the outline of the of the (e-)training programs.

DPP infrastructure description

D2.2 will describe a robust DPP infrastructure leveraging blockchain technology for secure data management and traceability and providing the basis for the implementation in T2.6.

Digital Product Passport governance

D2.1 will define requirements for the overarching rules and mechanisms for the contributions of the various actors to the DPP (e.g. access rights, contractual obligations, etc.) steering the technical developments in WP2.

Market and consumer trends

D1.5 will summarize the external environment and respective market drivers (market size, economic, legal, and institutional conditions, consumer behaviour, reuse practices, etc.) within each country and on a broader European basis.

Regulatory landscape analysis

D1.2 will provide an overview of the current and future regulatory framework in the EU, Member States and in third countries affecting textile waste, digitalisation, and sustainability.

Dissemination & Communication initial plan

D6.1 will outline the dissemination and communication strategy and report on the initial implementation.

EPR reporting requirements

D4.5 will provide an analysis of reporting requirements to authorities in the EPR schemes and how they can be facilitated in a tool.

Overview of textile eco-design strategies

D3.1 will encapsulate the eco-design strategies, informed by continuous end-user feedback and encompassing the entire value chain from fibre selection through fabric production and garment design, and making sure to align with EU regulations such as ESPR criteria.
