Cel The physical conditions in relativistic jets generated in vicinity of black holes or neutron stars may not be directly accessible to current observations, the reason being that the detected radiation originates from a non-thermal population of relativistic particles which may represent only a part of a more complex system (including a thermal component carying most of the mass of a jet). This project applies state-of-the-art numerical techniques as well as carefully developed analytic models to link the phy sical state of the jet to the radiation associated with the gamma ray bursts (GRBs) and active galactic nuclei (AGN).
