The ANAFACT tool is targeted at all companies who want to take a step beyond ISO 9000. The comparatively low price and comprehensive, but easy-to-understand way of navigating through all steps needed to follow the EFQM requirements allows for the first time to implement this concept in SMEs at an affordable price.
The ANAFACT project develops both an advanced methodology for implementing the Total Quality approach according to the EFQM and a set of software tools to support it. The tool is targeted at all companies who want to take a step beyond ISO 9000 and who want to make quality a part of their overall business culture. The comparatively low price and comprehensive, but easy-to-understand way of navigating through all steps needed to follow the EFQM requirements allows for the first time to implement this concept in SMEs at an affordable price. Part of this lies in the fact that the ANAFACT tools translate" the EFQM guidelines to pragmatic questionnaires, part of it in the fact that ANAFACT supports all of EFQM and not only subsets of it, and part of it in the way the tools are linked through and supported by a multimedia tutorial. The tools are momentarily being tested by two end users, one of them a big international high-tech company who has already won the EFQM Award once and compared how the tools compare to the old methods, and the other a SME in manufacturing who just has been ISO 9000 approved and can validate the easiness of application for untrained users.
