CREATE is a compact disc read only memory (CDROM) that will enable small- and medium-sized enterprises (SME) in manufacturing to 'audit' eight important domains in and around their organization. These domains are: production; information technology; logistics; quality; finance; human resources; culture. CREATE is not an auditing tool in the traditional sense, but focuses on raising awareness of amongst users to support them in improving the performance of their company in the short and long term. With management consultants seen as too complicated, sophisticated and expensive, the CREATE CDROM suits these companies in assessing their own situation and starting an internal debate about possible changes and improvements.
