Cel
The objective of this proposal is to reintegrate the fellow in her home institution within a scientifically advanced research project. The scientific goal is to employ a new methodological approach to the study of an extension of the Turing information content model. This approach arises from a notion of uniform reducibility, introduced and studied by researchers in the host institution and is expected to provide the fellow with a novel powerful tool for attacking longstanding problems regarding definability, theory strength and the automorphism properties of the structure of the Turing degrees and its extensions. The fellow will be hired on a long-term contract with full social coverage initially at the second level of assistant professor. She will be supervised by internationally acknowledged researchers in the field and will be further trained to improve her research, teaching and leadership skills. The fellowship will aid her in establishing herself as an independent researcher and she is expected to reach the level of associate professor towards the
end of the three-year reintegration period. The benefit of the proposed fellowship is both scientific, with expected strong impact on the development of computability theory, and at community level, helping the EU to withstand brain-drain, ageing-related problems as well as the problem related to the lack of women researchers in exact sciences by preserving SU, FMI as one of the leading European centers in mathematical logic.
