Cel
The project's objective is Israel's participation in the Mobility Strategy for the European Research Area, to create a more favorable environment for researchers' mobility in Europe. This project will also create of a network of Mobility Centers in Israel, as part of the European network of Mobility Centers, ERA-MORE for short. The synergism produced by the network will lead to: 1) Superior services to the mobile researchers, 2) Significant reduction of costs and efforts by the universities, 3) Better opening up of Israeli research opportunities to scientists worldwide. A one-stop place will be created for visiting scientists to get all administrative support and information, necessary for their stay. The Israel RMP (Researcher Mobility Portal) will be an online library of practical information drawing on existing resources and links, as well as openings for research positions, while serving as a gateway to the European RMP and the local institutional RMPs. The European ERA-MORE network will be promoted to the Israeli research community. The project participants are the International Scientific Relations Division, of the Israeli Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST) and Bar-Ilan University (BIU), representing FURAD, the Israeli Forum of University Research Academic Directors. A steering committee has been established with representatives from the universities. The MOST International Scientific Relations Division will be the Bridgehead Organization. A "Content" committee will be established to support development of the Israeli Researchers Mobility Portal (RMP) and a "Proximity Assistance" Committee to help establish the Mobility Centers. BIU will be responsible for marketing the program and training the staff of national Mobility Centers.
