Peer-to-Peer Learning: Accessing Innovation through Demonstration

Rezultaty

Revised conceptual framework and typology

Initial conceptual framework revised to reflect insights gained from empirical research during the project.

WP5 Report

Report on major findings from WP5.

Practice abstracts from the second reporting period

"Set of 10 practice abstracts in the EIP Agri format from the second reporting period. These will include abstracts on: a) types of demonstration activity, b) learning through demonstration, the c) role of demonstration in innovation; best practice in enabling virtual demonstration farms; best practice in on-farm demonstration; policy recommendations for supporting on-farm demonstration. These will be produced in English and selected national languages. A ""practice abstract"" is a short summary of around 1000-1500 characters (word count – no spaces) which describes a main information/recommendation/practice that can serve the end-users in their daily practice. Abstracts will follow the EIP-AGRI guidance available on the web-site."

Set of midterm practice abstracts

"Set of 10 practice abstracts in the EIP Agri format based on research undertaken in the first reporting period. These will include: practice abstracts on demonstration activities in 30 countries, each produced in English and the national language; overview of demonstration activities in Northern, Southern and Eastern Europe, each produced in English with the Southern European abstract also produced in Italian and the northern in Polish. A ""practice abstract"" is a short summary of around 1000-1500 characters (word count – no spaces) which describes a main information/recommendation/practice that can serve the end-users in their daily practice. Abstracts will follow the EIP-AGRI guidance available on the web-site."

Final dissemination report

Report on the dissemination activities in the second reporting period (month 13-30).

WP3 Synthesis report with supraregional summaries

Report summarising characteristics of the inventory of demonstration farms in Europe, emphasising supraregional distinctions (between northern, southern and eastern Europe).

Validated decision-support tools

Tools for supporting the design of on-farm demonstration (e.g. how to design events, whom to invite, what types of learning approaches to adopt)

Information notes on demonstration activity, learning, innovation

Plain language summaries of the key conceptual findings of the project and typology of on-farm demonstrations.

Initial conceptual framework and typology

Document summarising the literature review and proposing initial conceptualisations of 'good' on-farm demonstration practices and a draft typology of demonstration types.

Midterm dissemination report

Report on dissemination activities in the first reporting period.

Initial dissemination plan

Initial plan for disseminating project outputs, to be reviewed at consortium meetings throughout the project.

Virtual demonstration good practice guidelines and training materials

Guidelines and training materials for enabling farmers to undertake virtual demonstration on their farms.

Data collection template and guidance notes

Template for data entry to inventory and associated guidance notes (specifying definitions, providing examples etc).

Best practice materials

Materials, including information notes and videos on establishing and evaluating best practices in on-farm demonstration.

Set of 24 selected cases

List of cases selected for research in WP5

Posters and summaries of national demonstration activities

Each consortium member is responsible for producing posters and brief national summaries of trends in on-farm demonstration for display/distribution at the supraregional meetings.

WP6 Synthesis report

Report summarizing policy recommendations

Policy and governance briefs

Brief document in plain language summarising policy and governance recommendations for demonstration.

Final conference

Joint final conference with AgriDemoF2F, to discuss and disseminate project findings. PLAID is financially responsible for this event.

Searchable georeferenced database

Database of farms and networks organising demonstration activities, including postal code data. PLAID will collaborate with AgriDemoF2F to ensure that a searchable map based on the inventory is available on-line. AgriDemoF2F is responsible for the technical aspects of inventory structure and on-line interface, including the clickable map.

PLAID web-site

HUT will develop and maintain a dedicated project web-site. This will be up-dated at regular intervals throughout the project. It will contain: • descriptions of planned project activities, participants and outputs • the PLAID twitter feed, and blog, links to the PLAID facebook page and You-Tube channel • an open registration survey for populating and up-dating the inventory of demonstration activities (WP3) • links to the inventory database and interactive map (WP3) • profiles on the virtual demonstration farms (including videos) (WP4) and case studies in WP5 • all print outputs (e.g. fact-sheets) and the decision-support tools developed in WP6 • links to partner organisations, IAB home pages, EUFRAS and other related sites

Set of 14 virtual demonstration farms

Audiovisual materials from each farm will be available on the project web-site and you-tube channel.

Set of 28 videos

At least two videos per participating farm will be available on the web-site and through YouTube

Final data management plan

The data management will be up-dated over the course of the project, as new issues emerge, yielding a final data management plan in month 28.

PLAID data management plan

Document will describe the data management procedures for the PLAID project, including measures to comply with expectations of the Open Research Data Pilot
