SMASH, Smart Sharing by Greenspider® aims to radically change the mobility at global level, facilitating the secure, reliable and open use of shared resources.
The Unique solution developed by Greenspider is protected by international patent applications (PCT/EP2015/078664): the IPR process protects the innovative characteristics related to resiliency and security of the solution,
SMASH consists of three parts:
• A small device that can be installed in a large variety of vehicles, like scooters, eBikes, cars and microcars and identifier, status and position.
• A user App, that allows you to access a huge expandable set of sharable resource. With the same App the user can register new objects, vehicles and resources, and make them available for shared use.
• The Cloud features needed to handle the vehicle and user data, with the highest requisite of Digital Security and Data Protection.
The commercial exploitation of SMASH addresses two target segments in the field of smart mobilty:
• Innovative vehicle manufacturers
• Vehicle sharing operators.
This kind of players are proliferating worldwide, deploying different categories of vehicles;2 Wheels (eBikes, Kickscooters, Scooters), 3 Wheels (scooters, electric Scooters), 4 wheels (cargo and utility vehicles, micro-cars, special vehicles).
During SMASH pilot we succeded to adapt SMASH solution to all theses different categories.
SMASH is curretnly delivered to sharing operators as Solution-As-A-Service, composed by:
• A unitary pricing for the provisioning of SMASH device.
• A unitary monthly fee covering the cost of the connectivity of the device.
• A flat periodic fee (yearly or monthly fee) for the deployment, licensing, maintenance of the features; Web Front-end, back-end, and user apps (android/ IoS).
This model was implemented and validated with many players, representative of the target market, with an impact in the pilots even exceeding any initial expectation.
We planned 3 pilots and executed 15, involving sharing operators and vehicle manufacturers; the increase was due to the fast turnover of vehicle sharing operators, and many newcomers.
A traction has been created, and a profitable business model highly replicable at global level has been validated.
During the project we also developed and validated all the necessary element for the large scale market launch with for the Peer2Peer Model, an expandable model open to any private individual willing to become a sahring operator.
This elements includes a secure payment method token base, and the possibility to deploy secure Smart Contract between the two peers, the owner and the user of the vehicle.
