Contributing to a well-reasoned set of Airworthiness Standards for mass-market drones

Rezultaty

Second workshop report

Report on the setup and results of the second AWDrones Workshop

Methodology for structuring and assessment of technical standards and related rules and procedures – final release

The methodology developed at the beginning of the project will be refined following the lessons learnt after the first round of data collection and assessment. This deliverable will report the final version of the data structuring and assessment methodology to be then used for the rest of the project.

Results from first survey and roundtable consultations

Report on the outcomes of the first survey and roundtable consultations performed between M1 and M15.

AW-Drones proposed standards – Second iteration

Second release of the AW-Drones proposed set of validated standards. This release will be based on the standards identified in the first round of assessment carried out in WP3 (D3.2) and the feedback collected during the second workshop. In particular, this document will deliver a set of validated standards for the safe and reliable integration of drones in the next coming U-Space.

Third workshop report

Report on the setup and results of the third AWDrones Workshop detailing the issues identified and the resultant priorities arising

Final recommendations for EASA

Final report that synthetizes the results from WP3 and WP4 and produces specific recommendations for EASA on regulatory aspects to be addressed and standards to bereferenced in the AMC The deliverable also provides highlights on identified gaps and bottlenecks for safe operations of massmarket drones A first draft of the recommendations will be delivered at M34 and the final version will be completed at M36 after having received comments from EASA

AW-Drones proposed standards - Third iteration

Third release of the AWDrones proposed set of validated standards This release will be based on the standards identified in the first round of assessment carried out in WP3 D33 and the feedback collected during the third workshopIn particular this document will deliver a set of validated standardsprinciples for Autonomous UAS operations

Methodology for structuring of collected technical rules, standards and procedures – first release

Summary of the activities conducted in Task 2.1. It will constitute the reference guide for the categorization and classification of data collected in Work Package 3.

First workshop report

Report on the set-up and results of the first AW-Drones Workshop, detailing the issues identified and the resultant priorities

State-of-the-art of mass-market drones standards – Second iteration

This report will have a two-fold approach to the collection and analysis of the status of standards development for mass-market drones: - on one side, it will consider any progress and/or deviation in the standards already collected and analysed in D3.1. They will be integrated and complemented with the new regulations and standards emerged in the meantime at a global level; - in addition, particular focus will be put on the emerging standards needed for the safe and reliable development of U-Space.

State-of-the-art of mass-market drones standards – Third iteration

Annual report that will give a view on the status of standards development for airworthiness of massmarket drones compiling data gathered with the assessment conducted in Task 33 and in workshop surveys and roundtables in WP5 during the year The third iteration will complement the analysis with standards that are relevant for the certification of autonomous drone systems

Methodology for assessment of technical standards and related rules and procedures – first release

Summary of the activities conducted in Task 2.2. It will constitute the guide for the analysis and assessment of data collected in Work Package 3. It will contribute also to the definition of a validation process for the standards proposed by Work Package 4.

State-of-the-art of mass-market drones standards – First iteration

This report will give a first view on the status of standards development for mass-market drones. This deliverable will mainly focus on the critical assessment of the European UAS Standards Coordination Group (EUSCG) Rolling Development Plan. The EUSCG RDP will be reviewed and/or complement where needed with the incorporation of information from other world areas, notably Far-East, as well as relevant information from non-aviation domains (e.g. automotive industry in what relates to autonomous systems, ITC for data science and communications among the others). The focus will be on the specific and certified categories of operations, including the need for standards supporting the SORA (Specific Operations Risk Assessment) methodology.

AW-Drones proposed standards – First iteration

First release of the AW-Drones proposed set of standards. This release will be based on the standards identified in the first round of assessment carried out in WP3 (D3.1) and the feedback collected during the first workshop. In particular, this document will deliver a set of validated standards to support drone operations in the specific and certified categories defined by EASA Opinion 01/2018 or latest draft of Implementing Rules and Delegated Acts (with a focus on standards to complement SORA mitigations).
