From the beginning of the project the researcher has synthetized dialkynes and dithiols as building-blocks for conductive materials. The synthesis took more than the expected (more than one year as expected from WP1) due to the Covid-19 pandemic that has stop France 3 months from March to June 2020. Later the entrance of the laboratories was limited and the creation of the polymers was also slowed down. Anyhow a library of polymers has been created and the conductivity, as principal characteristic of any conductive materials has been measured on all the samples.
Then an integration of the objectives and aims has been done, taking into account that the planned schedule would have been impossible to follow due to lack of time and human interactions. Intra-group works have been implemented and fruitful collaborations have been realized. Two research papers have been published in collaboration with other members of the group, inherently to conjugated thiophene-based polymers as TEXTHIOL designed. A very fertile interaction started with Prof. Eleni Pavlopoulou a past member of the group now in IESL-FORTH Krete, Greece. Thanks to her the researcher had the possibility to collaborate in the European project #800926 HyPhOE.
The main dissemination was through two ways: conferences and via web.
Unluckily the pandemic slows down the presential presentation of works, anyhow two presentations has been done during TEXTHIOL: a poster presentation at Berlin (Germany) in the FPi14 conference in the month of July-2019 and at the end of the project in the month of April-2021 via an oral presentation in the PMSE section of ACS Spring 2021 hold remotely.
During the whole project, systematically the CNRS section of Bordeaux and the LCPO webpage (
https://www.lcpo.fr/(odnośnik otworzy się w nowym oknie)) were posting as news the acceptance of all the article included in the project. A newsletter parallelly is send to every member of CNRS hint all the publications and notable events.
