OBJECTIVES
Vehicle repair shops throughout the whole of Europe are facing the same problem. Technological innovations and customer requirements are leading to new training requirements which in many cases cannot be satisfied by the existing training offer. In this context, the project aims - by actively involving garage associations - to allow businesses to analyse their training requirements and to equip themselves with suitable self-training means. The partners will focus on providing garages with training systems which will enable them to adopt a customer-oriented approach and to react appropriately to technological changes by means of improved work organisation.
ACTIVITIES
The partners will initially analyse training requirements and will then draw up qualification profiles. The partners will devise an in-company training approach and will design training modules, aids and workshops.
PRODUCTS
This project will result in:
- A publication relating to the qualification and work organisation requirements in garages.
- A guide to the major principles of in-company training.
- Training modules and aids, mainly on CD-ROM.
