A report describing workflows and SOPs using the optimized methods – describing the effects of sample treatments on 1) formation of secondary NPs and 2) effects of these treatments on NP, which may react differently than the larger MNPs.
Database on the chemical and morphological changes occurring during NP formation, as well as on the surface of the parent plastic. This will provide a key deliverable supporting MNP risk assessment through developing a database of signatures for in-depth characterization of MNPs.
Leaflet describing the cluster activities and participating projects
Protocols of high-throughput analysis of MNPsA description of the key requirements to scale analytical methods for population screening including: 1) benchmark quantification methods for MNPs using untargeted Pyr-HRMS against traditional targeted approaches ; 2) identification of best practices for standard selection, eliminating background contamination and reagent purity; 3) evaluation of the effect of sample preparation on MNP chemistry.
