Wyniki nadające się do wykorzystania
TELER (TELematcis Entreprise Reporting) demonstrates the feasibility of a common model and related standards for the exchange of data between enterprises and data collectors, especially National Statistical Institutes (NSIs).
TELER demonstrates 3 software interfaces. Their basic functions are to extract data items from enterprises' computerised information systems, to then calculate from them the variables that are requested by official data collectors, esp. NSIs (national statistical institutes) and to send the resulting file, properly formatted, into an EDIFACT message to the recipient data collector. The 3 demonstrators cover a variety of situations regarding current exchanges of business data between enterprises and data collectors, viz. (i) direct submission from medium sized and large enterprises to statistical offices; (ii) exchanges of data concerning SMEs via their accounting firm; (iii) reprocessing of data received by national professional associations which are used to fill out forms requested by national authorities and international bodies. The extension and further development of these prototypes are expected to considerably reduce the workload required of enterprises, to cut data capture tasks at NSIs and to enhance the quality and timeliness of business information.
