Data collected from common medical scanning systems will be transferred onto computers and rendered as images to be processed into 3D models, then analysed by an ad hoc expert system in terms of unique definition and intervention requirements, and submitted to simulated operational tests (structural, mechanical, thermal, etc...); afterwards, models will be transferred to rapid production using previously selected materials (according to their bio-compatibility): finally, quality control will be performed on products by functional tests and measurements.
