The goal of our company is to conceptualize and develop a 32 Bit controller system which aside from normal control tasks can also carry out data analysis and make prognoses from this analysis. It will be a modular controller with locally operating components, networked over a field bus system, to allow a higher functionality of measuring, controlling, adjusting and testing. Our principal will consist of an electro/magnetic field proof, zero potential core which will contain 1 to 16 control modules. The individual modules will be connected by fiber optic cables. The connection to a PC or Notebook will also take place. Appropriate interfaces for high level programming languages is planned. The development of the software, hardware and other devices (e.g. Bus/system, sub/modules, interfaces are to be included in this undertaking. The cost advantage accompanying the use of this concept will put SME's in the position to increase productivity and market competitiveness. The controllers will be produced by our company and the partner companies in the other countries after further development and could be applied in a wide range of applications.
