Cel

This thematic network aims at organising the European offshore industry related to Floating Structures Technology in a network to establish a forum for establishing state of the art of the technology, identify technology gaps and advise future research such that technology leaps can be achieved in order to improve the cost effectiveness of floating structures. Through this network and streamlining of the European research efforts towards market needs, there will be a significant improvement of the competitiveness of the European offshore industry which again will contribute to a sustainable employment growth for the industry in a very competitive global market. Future technology challenges in connection with new frontiers and ultra deep waters will also be addressed.
