The project identified practical ways to tackle the problems of isolated islands in accessing information society services.
A tourism database on kiosk and Internet has been made commercially available since 1998. Information (hotels, events, weather, entertainment, etc.) is updated directly by tour operators. Already available in English and Portuguese.
Hypercom Virtual Campus is a web based tele-training system to manage the introduction of the Internet in schools and assist teaching innovation using Internet resources. Already available in English, French, Italian and Greek.
