The European Commission, DG XI, has published an invitation to tender for the provision of scientific and technical assistance for tasks arising from the implementation of Directive 79/409/EEC on the conservation of wild birds, and Directive 92/43/EEC on the conservation of natural habitats and of wild fauna and flora, as well as the Bern and Bonn international Conventions.

The tasks required may be planned, such as the drafting of reports, or identified according to specific needs, such as the treatment of complaints of the drafting of responses to Parliamentary questions.

The contract will initially last for one year, with the possibility of yearly extensions for a further two years.
