IPR help for FP5 projects
The IPR-Helpdesk legal team have prepared a free booklet on Intellectual Property issues within the new Community Research and Technological Development (RTD) Model Contract (Cost Reimbursement) within the Fifth RTD Framework Programme (FP5). It can be downloaded directly from the Internet and is also available in print form. The brochure is aimed at anyone preparing proposals for RTD projects or already subject to a contract. It outlines the rules on contractors' rights and obligations related to IPR and the dissemination and use of research results. The IPR-Helpdesk is a European Commission project, and contains an extensive database of more than 5,000 pages of IP related information, accessible via the Internet at: http://cordis.europa.eu/ipr-helpdesk(odnośnik otworzy się w nowym oknie) The helpdesk also produces a monthly newsletter called IP-Wire which deals with IP news from Europe and around the world.
