NMR calibration of solid fat content - prior information
The European Commission's Institute for reference materials and measurements (IRMM) in Geel, Belgium, will shortly call for tenders for a contract to produce secondary standards for the calibration of solid fat content by nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR). Tenderers will be asked to demonstrate their capability in the field as well as produce and calibrate such reference materials in a reproducible way. The Commission estimates the value of this contract at around 75,000 euro per annum.
