Legal analysis in the field of information and communication technology
One law firm is being sought by the Personnel and Administration Directorate-General for the provision of an updated version of each of the contractual standard documents used by the Commission in the fields of information and communication technology. Updating the standard contractual documents should be based on the current version, taking into account recent changes to recent contracts, and shall be the result of their critical legal analysis. Potential tenderers should be lawyers and specialists in the fields of information and communication technology. They should be highly qualified in drafting contracts and in related matters (commercial law, intellectual property rights, law of contractual liability, law of new technologies, etc.), with a thorough grounding in Belgian and international law. Candidates will be requested to check the contents of the standard documents, and to point out any weaknesses. A very broad experience of contractual practice and in the domain of ICT is necessary. Qualification and experience of potential tenderers will be a key element in the final selection. Great importance will also be attached to the proposed working methodology. Close collaboration with the personnel of the Commission will be required throughout the execution of the contract. The maximum amount allocated to this contract is 120,000 euro.
