The Information Society Directorate-General is inviting tenders for a study on regulatory aspects of access to mobile network infrastructures and network intelligence.

The Commission believes there is an urgent need for a study into the regulatory aspects of access to future mobile broadband network infrastructures and network intelligence. The study should define the relevant points of access for each type of access and analyse technical and economic aspects. The study should consider issues such as ownership and control gateways and how commercial practices could lead to a restriction of competition.

The study should help the Community and national authorities in their treatment of access issues. Deliverables will include recommendations and/or guidelines on the EU approach towards regulatory treatment, including dispute resolution.
