Extension of ELEAS project to candidate, acceding, EEA and EFTA states: call for proposals
The Commission's DG Enterprise has published a call for proposals in relation to the extension and operation of the ELEAS project (e-commerce legislation easily accessible for SMEs) to the candidate countries, acceding countries and all EEA and EFTA states. The ELEAS project is currently operated by a network of 18 Euro Info Centres in 14 EU Member States and in Norway. Therefore, the objective of this call for proposals is to identify possible partners of the ELEAS project in the candidate countries, acceding countries and all EEA EFTA States. Key tasks in relation to the contract will include, in particular, translations of the content developed by the ELEAS project into the national languages, presentation of the national implementations of relevant EU directives wherever possible, establishment and operation of the question and answer service at national level, and dissemination and promotion of the service at national level. This call for proposals is addressed to the Euro Info Centres (EICs) as they have the potential to reach SMEs and thus to effectively disseminate the information services developed during the first phase of the project.
