Incineration of hazardous waste
On 11 July 1994 the Council adopted common position (EC) No 26/94, with a view to adopting a Council Directive on the incineration of hazardous waste. The Council's common position lays down, for the initial phase of the proposed Directive, common provisions for the incineration of hazardous waste. In the medium term, it has provided for a radical review of the limit values and related provisions on the basis of experience, technological progress and environmental requirements.
