Policy making and monitoring of open, flexible and distance learning (OFDL)
The TRIBUNE European Learning Technology Collection has published "Insights on policy impact: Policy making and monitoring of OFDL development". It is the sixth in the TRIBUNE series of publications. TRIBUNE is a DELTA project for the dissemination of information concerning European research and development in learning technologies activities. Through its publications, TRIBUNE collects, analyses and informs on the developing opinions on education technologies in Europe. The TRIBUNE project has organized thematic working panels of experts as a means for developing consensus on specific issues concerning the evolution of OFDL. The publication deals with the issues developed by the working panel on policy impact. The working panel focused on the following three themes: - Identification and classification of a set of policy measures which have been applied in the area of OFDL; - Analysis of aims and policy objectives; - Identification of case studies on policy initiatives undertaken and the identification of impact indicators.
