ITEA'96 - Official launch of European Information Technology Awards
The Community's ESPRIT programme in the field of information technologies and the European Council of Applied Sciences and Engineering (Euro-CASE) officially launched the European Information Technology Awards for 1996 (ITEA'96) on 8 May 1996. The ITEA scheme aims at rewarding excellence in converting innovative RTD results into marketable products. The theme for ITEA'96 is "Novel products with a high IT content and evident market potential". Entry is open to organizations in the EU, the European Economic Area, or the Central and East European countries.
