Environment and Climate - Recent publications
Two recent publications describe work carried out within the framework of the Community's specific RTD programme in the field of environment and climate. These are: - Advanced design and operation of municipal waste water treatment plants (ISBN 92-827-7076-1): Describes work carried out by the Bilbao Water Authorities into the nitrification of waste water; - Factors controlling the migration and attenuation of priority pollutants in landfill pollution plumes (still in press): Describes work carried out on the factors controlling the migration and attenuation of organic chemicals and heavy metals (nickel and cadmium) in landfill leachate plumes.
