Advanced service platform for information providers
Current available platforms for providing information are insufficient in meeting the ever-increasing demands and requirements of content market. For instance, most traditional search engines have been designed in such a way that important information sought may be missed unless proper keywords are used. Particularly, the evolving e-content growth market has been restricted by the unsatisfactory user experience with Internet technologies. Unlike current systems used, the so-called IRAIA is a new service platform that allows multiple information providers to create services that host individual or thematically corporate information. One of the most prominent features of IRAIA is that it offers its users advanced capabilities of flexible navigation and orientation when exploring the information space. By simply clicking on entries, which are terms or phrases built in concept hierarchies, the user may search all relevant information required. IRAIA is expected to become available for immediate application and for further improvement under three versions: the basic, the advanced and the individual version. The basic version will be available for free in order to help branding the technical platform, while the advanced version is expected to cover more advanced and value-added features. The individual version is anticipated to incorporate provider-dependent specifics that adapt and customise to individual requirements without restricting the flexibility of the service.
