Water Efficiency in Cities, an international conference on managing water as a resource for living, will be held in Zaragoza, Spain, from 20 to 22 January 1999. The aim of the event, organized by the Fundacion Ecologia y Desarollo, is to publicise and discuss the different water purification methods currently implemented around the world.
The conference is intended for those dedicated to the study of water management in cities, politicians and public administration technicians in the water sector, city water companies, neighbourhood and consumer associations, environmental groups, and professional people linked to water use in cities.
The event organizers are inviting applications for presentations regarding efficient water management in cities.
The final date for applications is 20 December 1998. The conference will be held in English and Spanish.
