EU-India Renewable Energy Business Development Forum

The EU-India Renewable Energy Business Development Forum will be held in New Delhi in March.

The forum aims to establish and promote interaction between companies in the renewable energy market. It will help make European companies aware of opportunities in the Indian energy market, and of the operating requirements there.

The target group for the forum includes both companies in the renewable energy market, banks, potential partner companies in the service sector and Indian and European government decisionmakers.

The forum will cover topics ranging from the potential of the renewable energy market in India, through joint venture opportunities to incentives offered by the Indian government.

The forum will be held on 15 March 1999 and is supported by the SYNERGY programme run by the Directorate General for Energy of the European Commission.
