A major international forum for digital libraries organised by the Association for Computing machinery will be held in San Antonio, Texas, on 2 to 7 June 2000.
Digital Libraries 2000 will present a programme for the presentation of new results from the diverse fields that study and develop digital libraries, including computer scientists, librarians, information scientists, archivists, social scientists, collection developers, theoreticians, publishers, researchers, educators, policy makers, and others in academia, government, commerce and industry.
The programme will cover aspects of system design, implementation experience, evaluation, collection design, intellectual property issues, social issues, governmental policy issues, economic issues, user communities and theoretical considerations.
The conference will be co-located with Hypertext 2000 held from 30 May to 3 June 2000, so delegates can attend both events.
