CEA will consolidate the standards developed in StaSHH in a white paper.

Based on the updated standard defined in deliverable 3.5, Ballard will update their module design to 100% standard compliance.

Together with project partners, WaterstofNet will increase the visibility of the project by attending at least 8 relevant fuel-cell and end-user events, conferences and fairs with dedicated project dissemination materials.

Based on the updated standard defined in deliverable 3.5, Proton Motor will update their module design to 100% standard compliance.

WaterstofNet will develop appropriate dissemination materials for the events (see task T2.4) to which it participates or organises. These materials include project slide-packs, posters, banners, flyers, take-aways (e.g. pens, USB sticks, key-holders) as well as visual identity (logo, identifiers). These materials will be shaped as much as possible in the standardised sizes/shapes of the fuel cell module that the project will conclude upon.

WaterstofNet will make an end-user market study that provides insights into the market perspective of the standardised fuel cell modules that are developed within the project. The results of the assessment provide the market potential and volumes for the standardised fuel cell modules and its advantages and impact over the non-standardised fuel cell module alternative.

Based on the updated standard defined in deliverable 3.5, Toyota Europe will update their module design to 100% standard compliance.

Together with project partners, WaterstofNet will increase the visibility of the project by publishing at least one article in a reputable, peer-reviewed, international scientific journal.

Based on the updated standard defined in deliverable 3.5, Intelligent Energy will update their module design to 100% standard compliance.

Techno-economic analysis (odnośnik otworzy się w nowym oknie)

AVL will perform a techno-economic analysis to quantify the economic benefits standardised FCMs in terms of manufacturability, automation, reduction of parts, volume production, concentrated R&I efforts and expenditure, ease of operations, maintenance and serviceability in order to assess the impact and TCO advantages for at least 3 end-user applications having a standardised fuel cell module in comparison to 1) an end-user application not having a standardised fuel cell module and 2) the state-of-the-art alternative as a baseline.

SINTEF and AVL will define the Application Programming Interface API including diagnostic and prognostic functions which will be based on the CAN bus which is already a de facto standard in the industry The API will be coupled with opensource drivers for at least one relevant hardware architecture documentation on the communication protocol between FCMs and OEM systems and a standardised physical connector The API will provide plugandplay capability to add power to a system by connecting more FCMs into its slots handling configuration operations internally OEMs and FCM suppliers will contribute their expertise and practice in order to make the digital interface easily adaptable to the industrys current de facto standards

VDL shall define the maximum size of FC modules and their interface areas for the different power rangeswith input from all OEMs for maximum available space claim and other relevant specifications for all applications VDL will define other relevant physical specifications mechanical aftersales serviceabilityetc for the identified standard sizes which will be validated by FCM suppliers

Based on the updated standard defined in deliverable 3.5, Nuvera will update both their module designs to 100% standard compliance.

Standard interface definition (odnośnik otworzy się w nowym oknie)

VDL will define the flow connections for the different power ranges gas liquid electric including their number capacity and physical layout and how multiple units will interact in a multiFCM setup OEMs will provide input on the required connections for their specific applications and as long as possible on their market sector in general FCM suppliers will validate the feasibility of the proposed standard and suggest modifications to improve FCM properties such as robustness reliability and lifetime

Based on the updated standard defined in deliverable 3.5, Plastic Omnium will update their module design to 100% standard compliance.

Recommendations for environmental, performance and safety assessment (odnośnik otworzy się w nowym oknie)

CEA will prepare a series of recommendations for the test protocols to be developed in T5.3 to ensure their relevance to RCS for safety, environment and performance, based on T6.1 and CEA experience in PEMFC system testing methodology. These shall include equipment under test, working environment and tolerances, tests preparation, sequence order and combination of tests, and a table of possible and suitable tests. TNO and FEV will evaluate the technical feasibility and prioritisation of these recommendations for inclusion into the experimental protocols of T5.3.

CEA will analyse and compile relevant existing regulations codes and standards for the operation of hydrogen fuelcell systems with focus on the EU and other important markets for project participants FPS will assist CEA in the specific domain of inland and sea navigation while CEA will be responsible forlandbased applications FCM suppliers will share with CEA their experience and best practice on RCS including external functional specifications risk analyses datasheets and user manuals for their currently certified fuelcell systems

VDL will update the standards developed in the first year of the project with the experience gained during construction of FCMs, testing and feedback obtained from industry and RCS bodies. SINTEF and AVL will support VDL for the update of the digital interface.

OEM integration of standard FCM (odnośnik otworzy się w nowym oknie)

Damen will lead the consortium's OEMs to provide their experience in defining best practices for integration of the StasHH standard FCMs into their applications.OEMs will provide experience from their specific field in regard to safety, cooling system, air and hydrogen feed, and integration with pre-existing electrical and control systems.

SINTEF will demonstrate the HiL capabilities of the library developed in D3.7 on an actual FCM during one of the project's testing campaigns. The partner running the actual campaign will support SINTEF in the execution of the demonstration.

VDL ES will deploy and demonstrate (TRL 7) operation of a genset based on the StasHH standard; the unit, provided by one of the FCM suppliers of the project, will be tested as closely as possible to the test conditions defined in D5.6.This genset will be flexible and applicable in multiple settings with minimal adaptations.

TNO will be responsible for the annual data reporting to the FCH JU, including quantitative and qualitative project data and visual material related to projects’ activities.

Real-time X-in-the-loop Modelica library (odnośnik otworzy się w nowym oknie)

Based on the Modelica library developed in EU project Virtual-FCS, SINTEF will develop a model tailored on StasHH' digital interface standard. This model will connect module simulation and hardware, thereby enabling its use in standard-compliant FCM testing.Ballard and Solaris will support the development with their perspectives as FCM supplier and OEM.

WaterstofNet will set up operate and maintain the project website and increase its visibility through interlinking with relevant related project websites projects in the fuel cell and HD enduser segment WaterstofNet will set up operate and maintain the projects socialnetwork and media accounts eg Twitter LinkedIn to inform the public stakeholders including OEMs outside the consortium projects organisations about the progress of the project and important milestones reached
