Reviewing available methods, best practices, standards and certification schemes for recycled plastics will be reported including different methods used for establishing recycled content, composition and properties of the recyclate, and screening on substances of concern according to the different applications. D1.2 will be elaborated by COOLREC in collaboration with EuPC, BASF and ARCELIK.
Plastic recyclate handbook (odnośnik otworzy się w nowym oknie)Reviewing annually the existing definitions and standards, the Plastic recyclate handbook will be developed, as well as the final conclusions on the updated plastic recyclate terminology. Moreover, the technical characteristics defined for using recyclates to guarantee the compliance of the final products will be included. D1.3 will be elaborated by AIJU in collaboration with NTUA-R-Nano, NTUA-LPT MIRTEC, COOLREC, BIOG3D, CTB, ARCELIK.
Analytical verification protocol for each use case recycling input with aligned acceptance criteria (odnośnik otworzy się w nowym oknie)An established verification protocol by comparative analyses of recycled and non-recycled materials will be developed to define the recyclate content, addressing critical factors that influence material/product safety and setting acceptance criteria.D3.3 will be elaborated by BASF in collaboration with AIJU, COOLREC, MIRTEC and NTUA-LPT/R-Nano.
Report on communication, dissemination and clustering activities (odnośnik otworzy się w nowym oknie)A final report on communication, dissemination, including clustering activities, that will lead to the development of synergies and cooperation among research and innovation stakeholders resulting from Tasks 7.1, 7.4 and 7.5. Presentation of the toolkit and the results of the activities performed for society engagement.D7.2 will be elaborated by EUPC in collaboration with AIJU, ATTICA, NTUA-R-Nano, STRATA and MIRTEC.
Communication and Dissemination Plan (odnośnik otworzy się w nowym oknie)A detailed and agile dissemination, communication and awareness plan containing the identification of stakeholders, dissemination methods and channels according to the EC, GA and CA to reach the expected impacts in terms of awareness, and the schedule and complementarities of dissemination and communication among partners delivered.D7.1 will be elaborated by EUPC in collaboration with STRATA.
Inventory and characterization of the EoL PWS for the different applications (odnośnik otworzy się w nowym oknie)An inventory containing information about the type of collected product, volumes, polymer and/or additive/filler identification, and substances of concern in PWS will be created, including the characterization of the EoL PWS for the different applications. D1.1 will be elaborated by ATTICA in collaboration with COOLREC, CIRCULARISE, AIJU and BASF.
Analytical data provided by various methods will be clustered to establish efficient sampling strategies.D3.1 will be collaborative work of COOLREC, BASF, FRAUNHOFER and AIMEN. The first version will be issued by M18 and the final will be submitted at M30. M18 versions will be included within the 1st Periodic Report (M1-M18).
Prototypes for 3 different applications such as oven, washing machine and refrigerator parts will be produced by ARCELIK based on the new circular design (Task 5.1), including strategies and guidelines for industrial scale up (Task 5.6).D5.1 will be developed by ARCELIK in collaboration with COOLREC, MIRTEC and FRAUNHOFER.
Textile demonstrator by filament extrusion (odnośnik otworzy się w nowym oknie)A monomaterial 100% polyester textile developed for different end polyester textile applications such as garments, interior textiles, mattresses by CTB using filament extrusion (Task 5.5), based on the new circular design (Task 5.1), including strategies and guidelines for industrial scale up(Task 5.6).D5.3 will be developed by CTB in collaboration with MIRTEC, AIJU, NTUA-RNano and Fraunhofer.
Toy demonstrators (odnośnik otworzy się w nowym oknie)Toy products such as inclusive 3D boards and/or puzzle figurines for non-visually and visually impaired members of a family, and/or customisable/reconfigurable 3D printed equipment for physical activity will be developed by BIOG3D3D using AM technology(Task 5.3).A series of toys/learning resourced (puzzles) will be produced by AIJU using IM (Task 5.4). Demo cases will be based on new circular designs (Task 5.1). This deliverable will also include strategies and guidelines for industrial scale up (Task 5.6).D5.2 will be a collaborative work of BIOG3D and AIJU, supported by MIRTEC, FRAUNHOFER, NTUA-LPT and NTUA-RNano.
A description of the ethic requirements that will be implemented to safeguard personal data from stakeholders/experts, including informed consent form template and procedures, data protection policy and security measures to prevent unauthorized access to personal data. All ethics issues related to activities in the project: humans, personal data, non-EU countries and environment, health and safety and any additional ethics issues that may emerge during the project implementation will be addressed in compliance with ethical principles, the applicable international and national law, and the provisions set out in the Grant Agreement. D8.3 will be elaborated by NTUA in collaboration with all partners.
