iMM-CARE Strategic R&I Agenda

The iMM-CARE SRIA will be the result of a quadruple-helix co-creation process with the most important stakeholders in health R&I: citizens and patients, scientists and clinicians, policy-makers and health authorities, and business executives and investors. The SRIA will be available at M1, updated in M36 and M72.

Training Programs Toolkits

Clinician-Scientist Training Programme Toolkit - Design of the training programme including a basic module on research methods and practices in the clinical settings and more advanced training modules. A digital learning platform and digital content will be created, leveraging existing resources at iMM/FMUL and Aula Vall d’Hebron, including in-person training sessions, on-site visits and experiential learnings at VHIR. Delivery of 2 editions of the Clinician-Scientist Training Programme targeting over 150 health professionals in each edition.Clinical Trials Training Programme Toolkit - Traning program to endow clinical research staff with proper skills, knowledge and tools, including training modules for Clinical Trials Assistants (CTA) and Study Coordinators developed by VHIR.Biobank Training Programme Toolkit - Training will cover key aspects of establishing, maintaining and accessing biobank, including ethical and legislation aspects.

Open Call for Young Fellowship Programme

6 four-year grants for Clinician-Scientists allowing the implementation of a research project aligned with the goals and disease-specific missions of iMM-CARE. An open call will be launched with complementary funding from the National Science Foundation (FCT) already secured.
