Overview of the results
o Collection, analysis and processing of feedbacks based on 20 in depth interviews, (visitors aged 15-19), questionnaires filled in by 13,10 % of the overall attendees, and by 31,3 % of the researchers involved in the activities;
o Main conclusions:
o Typology of researchers: 10,04 % 18-24 years old (5,84 % in 2016), 97,78 % wishing to participate again is steadily high and rising ( 95.79% in 2016), increased number of teachers answering that the visit had benefited their teaching has risen, and a higher percentage wants to visit ForskarFredag again;
o Overall positive feedback about the events (activities, contacts with researchers, venues and locations, concrete organisation, scheduling);
o More positive towards being a researcher:
o 35,92 %, unchanged positive for 33,75 % , ”unchanged negative” 7,10% (5,18% in 2016), ”yes, more negative”: 3,25% (2,26% in 2016), ”Unsure”: 19,99% (19,29% in 2016);
o Results young visitors (25 years old and younger): ”yes, more positive”: 36,24% (39,99% in 2016), ”unchanged positive”: 32,65% (31,04% in 2016), ”unchanged negative” 7,47% (5,94% in 2016), ”yes, more negative”: 3,35% (2,50% in 2016), ”unsure”: 20,29% (20,53% in 2016);
o Having learned about how research is conducted:
o Results: “Yes” 71,93%, “No” 15,10%, “Don’t know” 12,97%;
