Nano-confined photonic system for detection of breast cancer spread to the lymph nodes

Rezultaty

Project website with content for public consumption

The project website will include two sections: 1) Public section dedicated to general non-confidential information, including: project and consortium information, links to project dissemination events, non-confidential information about results exploitation, relevant European events and project area useful links. 2) Member Area dedicated to the exchange of project documents, reports, meeting minutes, progress results, internal training sessions, a forum section, etc

Project video

At least 1 video catering for both the commercial and academic & technical audiences. This will be for viewing across the whole range of users as befitting the occasion. (E.g. YouTube, Facebook etc.).

Market Analysis

A study of actual market needs and size in order to define better the approach for commercialisation will be carried out.

Dissemination Kit

Informational factsheet, leaflets and posters, folders and USBs, newsletters, 2 videos presenting the projects results.

Obtaining review board approval

Regarding the use of human cell lines, all procedures involving patient samples will be approved by the local review board (Comité Ético de Investigación Clínica de La Rioja, CEICLAR) and will adhere to the tenets of the Declaration of Helsinki. Patients would have to sign an informed consent form. With regards to animal use, all the animal experimentation will follow the ethical policy consistent with the principles of “reduction, replacement, refinement, responsibility” (4R) and will be run under the current EU and national legislation on animal welfare. Specifically, Directive 2010/63/EU on the protection of animals used for scientific purposes and RD 53/2013 about the basic rules for the protection of animals used for experimental and other scientific purposes, including teaching.
