Rezultaty

Description of initial Interfaces & services for grid awareness

The first results on service and interface definition for grid awareness will be described in this deliverable as basis for further developments.

Validation of the techniques for grid awareness and their interfaces and services for grid awareness

This deliverable describes the developed techniques for grid awareness and provides results of the validation. In addition, the service definitions and the developed specification of interfaces will be described here.

Recommendations to policy makers, enterprises (business model design) and other stakeholder groups for designing regulatory frameworks and incentive systems, including CSR guidelines for business models in the energy sector

This Deliverable will address the best way to gain the society’s and the policy makers’ acceptance, by identifying critical environmental and societal impacts and considering necessary adjustments. As a basis for these adjustments, relevant CSR guidelines will be developed and recommendations to policy makers, enterprises (business model design) and other stakeholder groups for designing regulatory frameworks and incentive systems will be provided. The Deliverable will provide Conclusions and recommendations based on the assessment of different technologies for the design of the regulatory framework of SOGNO and for setting incentives to realise environmentally and societally compatible business models developed in SOGNO.

Description of new SOGNO techniques for autonomous and self-healing power systems

The documentation provides a repository of new data-driven intelligent services to promptly react to instantaneous demands and adversarial situations by self-reconfiguration and restoring. Design and implementation of each service is precisely documented which includes the choice of big data analytics and specifically prescribing deep learning architectures according to the collected data from electricity distribution grid. Data management and distributed computing architecture for each service are specified.

Report on events

This deliverable give a report on all SOGNO dissemination events and assess the results of these events regarding the intended communication goals. It will provide recommendations regarding the future exploitation of project results

Definition of overall SOGNO System Architecture

This deliverable will provide the definition of the system architecture relates to scenarios and requirements of the use cases and how it takes into account relevant public policies, such as the SET plan. The System Architecture description and representation will be presented to support reasoning and behaviors of the system.

Detailed description of 5G based ICT concepts for supporting grid awareness

This deliverable will provide a description of the selected 5G based ICT concept for grid awareness support as well as results from the respective lab testing of the solutions.

Evaluation of Scalability and Performance

Upon the successful outcome of D5.1and D5.2, D5.3 will examine and validate the scalability of this virtual control concept to a national and European grid scale. The report will appraise the overall capabilities of the concepts to meet the anticipated levels of control in an active electrical system with high levels of RES. It is envisaged that the different algorithms and software will be validated within the deliverable based on outcomes of live trials on the MV and LV networks in Ireland.

CSR aspects (environmental and societal impacts) of the identified value chain designs

One of the main focus of this Deliverable lies on the relevant CSR aspects of business models and value chains. Based on CSR requirements discussed with the project partners, this Deliverable will identify and quantify relevant societal and environmental impacts of SOGNO, using impact assessment methodologies, and evaluating CSR aspects of infrastructural changes and the respective business models.

Report on fostering support for SOGNO codes and ancillary services

This deliverable will report on the project activities in Standard Development Organisations and political framework setting institutions and assess the results of these activities of how the SOGNO ideas and concepts were taken on by these organisations.

Identification of economically feasible value chain designs

A comprehensive analysis of the economic feasibility for different value chains designs as the result of other work packages will be provided in this Deliverable. The analysis will emphasise the cost and revenues streams of the entire value chain and investigate how these aggregate results can lead to profitable business models on the level of individual economic entities.

Evaluation of potential new business model opportunities

New business models with a shift in market shares and institutional influence to existing or new established actors will be developed by SOGNO. This will be fully in line with the proposed new designs of energy systems developed in the Project.

Validation and description of the techniques, interfaces and services for autonomous & self-healing power systems

The developed services are validated in scenarios defined in WP1.

Description of initial Interfaces & services for autonomous and self-healing power systems

Relevant societal and environmental impacts of SOGNO are identified and quantified using impact assessment methodologies, and evaluating CSR aspects of infrastructural changes and the respective business models. Draft and detailed documentation of interfaces between the services and control systems, SCADA systems and other systems and services is provided. The interfaces will be build based on commonly used protocols, like IEC 61850, IEC 61968 and DNP3.

Analysis of SOGNO results regarding standards and regulations

This deliverable will provide a detailed analysis addressing the Project results, in particular on standards regulations looking at market results in the coming 5 - 10 years. The potential needs in the field of standards and regulations will be identified so that market can easily adapt the new technologies developed in SOGNO and the new adjustments proposed by SOGNO in the existing network codes.

Report on marketing tools

The purpose of this deliverable is to report on all initial communication and marketing activities of the entire project, and to provide an assessment of the measures taken as a preparation for the exploitation activities of the project results.

Detailed description of 5G based ICT concepts for autonomous and self-healing power systems

System level simulation activities on specific set of scenarios defined in the above work packages will be conducted considering extreme communication network conditions (network congestion). This includes characterisation of the transmission over the air of message streams generated by the virtualised sub-station automation of SOGNO and optimisation of the over the air transmission of these message streams.
