Rezultaty

SLO methodology for CREAToR

To increase consumer acceptance of recycled products a social license to operate toolkit will be developed including a methodology on sustainable business practices and local community protocol and a training program

Production of pellets for demonstrator production

Recipe and production of the injection moulding grade fulfilling the material properties for MAI demonstration case defined in WP1

Report about the industry recommendations

Analysis of the legislative obstacles and issues existing at national andor European levels which may impede to implement the most optimised sustainable solutions for the CREATOR EoL valorisation derived and resulting from the findings of dedicated workshop with the relevant sectoral organisations andor meeting with European or national legislators will be organised

Smart labelling system methodology report

Smart Labelling Systems Methodology will provide a framework for the mapping of product’s labelling with respect to their materials contents vis-à-vis facilitating their recycling. Such a label would inform users and recyclers alike, encouraging users to select products with high recycling potential and helping recyclers to select the right route for the item in question. The gap analysis will include the study of current certification requirements and to favour, at a later stage, the uptake of the certification scheme.

Creator Policy Brief

Final Policy Brief containing a Description of the policy issues identified across the project b Analysis of them by category Regulatory issues Market issues including certification and standardisation Technological issues c Suggested policy measures potentially structured by category regulation eg end of waste criteria barriers to trade for recycled materials etc market technology ie where additional policy support is needed be it I processing sorting or elsed If applicable to Creators partners Deployment ie what is important that policymakers should consider to see the technology deployed on the ground Note that this can have very different forms from financial support to product requirements eg on recycled content or EPR

Report of, process and end users' limitations and regulatory gaps

Giving an overview of the demands towards material properties and compostion potential end users may have for the recycled materials Therefor a survey will be held under potential end users Where possible appropriate pretreatment methods to help reach these demands will be identified and listed industrial requirements

Mapping of best practices for reverse cycle logistics

This deliverable is a report providing a conclusive picture of the state of art of reverse cycle logistics based on desk research and expert interviews. It also includes at least two in-depth analysis of cases which have overcome challenges comparable to the CREAToR reverse cycle.

Production of 3D printing filament

Production of 3D print filaments with the right dimensions usable in classic filament printers

Purification process using IL/(NA)DES performed

Purification process using NADES as cosolvents is running for all selected materials

Reverse cycle logistics design and evaluation method

The Reverse Cycle Design and Evaluation Method will be implemented as a simulation environment and be accompanied by documentation like a user guide It is a standalone deliverable that has value beyond the project scope but also is the basis for deriving the specific logistics concepts for CREAToR

Selection, conditioning and characterization of aviation based plastics

The report will contain a review about the aviation waste plastics situation in EU type of plastic current treatment valorisation routes etc It will include a classification of brominated plastics and their current application in the aeroplanes in order to facilitate their classification and further treatment Finally it will contain a first approach for the recycling of airplane plastics parts including the preconditioning of the materials and the final separation by materials

Extractive extrusion process performed with all provided material classes

Extractive extrusion process running for 20 kg h polymer feed all materials can be handeled dosing processing parameters granulating

Summary of data generation for the creation of smart labels

The deliverable will contain a basic proposal to labels the recycled plastics according with their chemical ad physical properties These properties will be priories by the industry demand

Final report on LCA/LCCA Management, and techno-economic assessment

Public report on Creator LCA and LCC including data from T36 and 44

Assessment of existing legislations and regulations

Giving an overview of relevant legislation and standards and identifying existing legal limitations on using the recycled materials in new products legal requirements

Certification Assessment Laymen Report

Certification Assessment Layman report is targeted at a nonspecialist audience and serves to inform of the project objectives and results concerning the most appropriate quality assurance system selected for each product together with the mapping of existing certification schemes

Eco-toxicity Roadmap

Report on environmental risks of the recycling chain

Analysis of recycling agents' conceptions & beliefs on SLS methodology

This analytical report will describe the analysis of conceptions and beliefs of recycling agents operators traders and dealers on certification schemes business models and use of marketing tools along distribution channels collected either on specific workshop WP6 or surveysinterviews or during facetoface communication

Life Cycle Inventory

Report showing Life Cycle Inventory structure

Smart labels for the materials utilized within CREAToR

The methodology, defined and described in D1.3, will be implemented onto Creator's 3 most adequate materials.

Demonstrator showing CREAToR's potential for aerospace application

CYCLEFIBER will manufacture 4 prototypes of each component upscaling to real component and fine tuning of process parameters and component surface quality requirement for assembly purposes additionally 8 kg for repeatability and stability of the production

2D demonstrator showing CREAToR's potential for automotive application

This deliverable is a 2D demonstration part for showcasing and shows the feasibility of the material for automotive applications

Demonstrator showing CREAToR's potential for insulation application

Process parameters for the new material found, characterization of the different recipes, production of samples for demonstrators, demonstrator walls (approx. 3x3 m) showing the application, influence of different climate conditions tested

Stakeholder workshops (1)

CREAToR will hold a stakeholder workshop, inviting local startups, and key partners from cluster groups in order to establish strategic partnerships, meanwhile collecting market data to achieve an “insider view” into the market, key trends and barriers to the use of recycled materials

Stakeholder workshops (2)

To increase consumer acceptance of recycled products a social license to operate methodology will be developed and on this basis two further stakeholder workshops will be held one for industrial stakeholders interested in directly implementing the CREAToR technologies and one for consumer associations eg the automotive manfacturers associations to help increase consumer acceptance of the technologies
