The protocol will also define the modelling work and model inter-comparison exercises that will be undertaken, how the stakeholder engagement plan will be implemented and which tools will be applied to modelling outputs. It will also define which IAMs can be compared for each country or region and how the rest of the models can contribute to the overall exercise by providing more comprehensive information on issues related to the synergies and trade-offs of the Paris Agreement implementation.
