After a successful completion of WP4, a extensive material data base for developing of the VHCF model for tooth root bending is available. The material data base includes two case-hardened steels. -Material properties of gear test specimen of material 2 -Tooth root strength of gear test specimen of material 2-Knowledge of failure characteristics (Fatigue limit 5 * 108)

Final Design of High Power Recirculating Gear Test RigThe output of WP1 will the concept of the recirculating gear test rig including the pre-design of the critical machine components as well as the completed design regarding the purchased machine components and the drawings for manufacturing. Furthermore, a detailed evaluation of the dynamic test rig behaviour will be an output of WP1.
