State-of-the-art review and initial design of the integrated 5G/Wi-Fi/LiFi network frameworks on coexistence, multi-connectivity, resource management and positioning

D31 introduces the stateoftheart technologies on integrated network coexistence multiconnectivity resource management and positioning It also describes the initial design of the integrated 5GWiFiLiFi network frameworks that provides i coexistence and cooperation between private and public networks operating in licensed as well as unlicensed bands ii multiconnectivity to different WATs iii enhancements on aggregated system area capacity through intelligent resource management and iv cmaccuracy on indoor positioning

Mid-term report on standards engagements

D64 reports standards bodies activities performed in the first 18 months of the project

Plan for exploitation and dissemination of project results

D61 provides the plan for the rest of the project with respect to the dissemination actions and an initial plan for the exploitation activities and reporting on the establishment of the External Advisory Board

Interim activity report 1

This deliverable will give a brief summary of the progress of work and management aspects of period M1M10 for the Commission officer

Initial design of the SDN/NFV platform and identification of target 5G-CLARITY ML algorithms

D4.1 will set the basis of the interfaces between the SDN/NFV platform developed in T4.1 and the 5G service platform considered in T4.2, as well as the AI engine developed in T4.3. D4.1 will also discuss how the various wireless access technologies, i.e. 5G, Wi-Fi, and LiFi, will be managed by the SDN/NFV platform. In addition, this deliverable will review the state of the art on ML algorithms applied to wireless access networks and will identify the key problem areas where 5G-CLARITY will focus the design of the ML algorithms.

Final report on dissemination and communication activities

D66 reports dissemination and communication actions in the second year of the project and the dissemination plan for the rest of the project

Primary system architecture evaluation

This deliverable is an updated version of D22 including some refinements based on the experience gained from work done in WP3WP5 and a first evaluation of the 5GCLARITY architecture This evaluation executed via simulations or theoretical analysis will assess the behavior and readiness of different features under different scenarios and contexts

Interim activity report 2

This deliverable will give a brief summary of the progress of work and management aspects of period M11M24 for the Commission officer

D62 details the activities on effective innovation management among the project partners reporting on the held workshops content output and feedbacks received from each participant

New services and applications

This deliverable is the final report on the 5GCLARITY relevant market watch and analysis and on the identified services and applications performed in T24

Complete design and final evaluation of the coexistence, multi-connectivity, resource management and positioning frameworks

D33 finalizes the description and performance evaluations of the integrated 5GWiFiLiFi network frameworks that are used in control and user plane to provide i coexistence between private and public networks that operate in licensed andor unlicensed bands ii multiconnectivity to different WATs such as 5G WiFi andor LiFi iii enhanced aggregated area capacity through smart resource allocation algorithms and iv improved positioning accuracy by using localization algorithms that intelligently combine different WATs

Primary system architecture

This deliverable will describe the initial 5GCLARITY architecture based on the analysis of use cases specified in D21 It will provide a first version of the architecture functional definition detailing the functionality of individual components and their interactions

Final system architecture and its evaluation

This deliverable is a report on the final architecture elaborated based on the initial design D22 its primary performance analysis and feedbacks from WP3WP4WP5 works and its evaluation

Evaluation of E2E 5G infrastructure and service slices, and of the developed self-learning ML algorithms

D43 will report on the integration between the 5GCLARITY SDNNFV platform and an E2E 5G service platform and will evaluate the time required to instantiate E2E infrastructureservice slices combining resources located inside the private venue with resources owned by the MNO In addition this deliverable will report on the final design andevaluation of the selflearning ML algorithms designed to manage the 5GCLARITY infrastructure

Specification of use cases and demonstration plan

D51 will details the specification of the scenarios and infrastructures for UCI and UCII demos requirements and corresponding KPIs D51 also reports the project plan of the implementation experimentation and demonstration of UCI and UCII demos This deliverable also includes verification tests descriptions and demo implementation riskidentification and proposed risk mitigation plan for demo implementations

Design refinements and initial evaluation of the coexistence, multi-connectivity, resource management and positioning frameworks

D32 introduces refinements on the frameworks that are initially designed D32 also evaluates i the performance of signalling interfaces between different WATs that establishes coexistence ii the multiconnectivity performance on achievable throughput latency and reliability of a single UE iii the performance of the UEAP association algorithms SDN intelligence interface selection and smart resource allocation algorithms that enhances aggregated areacapacity and iv the performance of the indoor localization performance that improves submeter positioning accuracy and reliability KPIs of the integrated 5GWiFiLiFi network

Management handbook and quality plan

D11 contains information about the internal organisation of the consortium and the work procedures for all partners It contains instructions for the collaboration tools as well as management responsibilities

Integration of solutions and validation

D52 report on the integration of solutions developed in WP3 and WP4 and evaluation of the integrated setup performance This deliverable will be used together as D51 to inform the UCI and UCII demos regarding the setup and deployment of the developed components in the testbeds and cases sites Integrated setup validation tests will also be included

Final report on innovation management, exploitation and IPR

D65 details all performed activities and obtained results on the innovation management methodologies learnt throughout the lifetime of the project it reports each partners exploitation plan for the next two years after project conclusion and elaborates on the IPR results

Use-case specifications and requirements

This deliverable reports the use cases taken as reference for the project, and that will guide the design, development, and demonstration activities conducted in the project. D2.1 will provide design specification of selected use cases and derive their functional and technical requirements.

Mid-term report on dissemination and communication activities

D63 reports dissemination and communication actions performed in the first year of the project

Validation of 5G-CLARITY SDN/NFV platform, interface design with 5G service platform, and initial definition of evaluation of ML algorithms

D42 will provide a validation of the SDNNFV platform that allows to instantiate infrastructure slices and connectivity services inside the private venue To benchmark the platform D42 will evaluate the time required to instantiate a slice and a service In addition D42 will describe how the infrastructureservice slices instantiated inside the private venue can be connected to a 5G service platform Finally this deliverable will describe the initial implementation and evaluation of ML algorithms to manage the 5GCLARITY networkcompute infrastructure

Data management plan

D1.2 contains the status and strategy of the project in regard to the data management and GDPR and will evolve during the lifetime of the project. Special emphasis will be provided in publishing Open Access (OA).
